Introducing the 2013 Fusion and 2013 Escape

The 2013 Fusion and 2013 Escape are the front and center features of Ford’s display at the Cleveland Auto Show. It is easy to see why.

We were lucky enough to get some of Ford’s top officials to take a few minutes and go over these popular models when we visited this year’s show.

The Escape is fully loaded, longer than past models with a remodeled interior using Eco-Friendly soybean seats.

Along with a full package of features with include the Ford Mytouch system, Ford is debuting the hands-free tailgate with the 2013 Escape. (1:30 of the video). Now if your hands are full, simply swipe your foot under the scanner and the tailgate will open itself! Watch the video and look for these models in the future.

The 2013 Ford Fusion is a completely redesigned, all new model that looks nothing like the Fusion you’re used to. The collision avoidance system means there are sensors on the front end of model. These sensors can tell if you’re about to rear end another vehicle, and will automatically start the braking process so you dramatically reduce the chance you’ll crash this beautiful model.

The blind spot monitor is a light that goes on your side mirrors if there is a vehicle in your blind spot, so you don’t change lanes and crash into another vehicle.

Watch the video and quickly fall in love with the new thin, swooping headlights, large center grille and aggressive lines that stretch across the hood.

We’ll have these models later this year, so check here and here for any updates throughout the year!
