A brand new, never before seen model is sitting on the floor at the Cleveland Auto Show, the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander GT. We had our first glance of the 2014 Outlander, and we must say we like what we saw.
The new Outlander GT is the next generation of the popular, best selling Mitsubishi SUV. While we couldn’t dig really deep into the Outlander, the information Mitsubishi had about this car was enough to get us excited.
Mitsubishi is calling the 2014 Outlander “a fresh new contemporary face that is both appealing and functional with reduced aerodynamic drag.”

Everything in the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander GT screamed quality. The one on display at the show was fully loaded. We couldn’t open the doors, but when we peaked inside, we found high-quality leather seats, sunroof and touch screen. Mitsubishi says the Outlander GT will feature a Touring Package, which comes with:
-Power Glass Sunroof
-Leather seating surface
-Power Driver’s seat
-Remote Power Tailgate
- 710-watt Rockford-Fosgate premium audio system
-7-inch touch panel navigation system with real time traffic
-Adaptive Cruise Control
-Collision Warning System
-Lane Departure Warning System.
The Outlander GT is also going to be a lighter, more fuel efficient vehicle. Fuel economy ratings were not released at the show. It looks a lot different than the current Outlander models. Instead of the trapazoid grille, the Outlander features a thin, swooping front grille, along with fog lights and alloy wheels.
105.1 inch wheelbase
183.3 inches long
66.1 inches tall
70.9 inches wide
Expect the Mitsubishi Outlander in the dealership later this year. Check it out today though at the Cleveland Auto Show.
