Ford F-150 Makes it Cleveland Debut

The highly anticipated 2015 Ford F-150 has made its grand debut for Northeast Ohio at the 2014 Cleveland Auto Show. There was plenty of pomp and circumstance Friday during a press conference in front of the local media. Representatives from local, state and national government were also on hand to welcome this truck to Cleveland.

“Any launch of an F-Series is a big deal,” said Doug Scott, truck marketing manager at Ford Motor Co.

The Ford F-150 is perhaps the most ambitious redesign Ford has ever introduced into the truck market. Made using aluminum, the new Ford F-150 is lighter than its ever been. That means you’ll get better fuel economy and better performance. The F-150 also promises to fit the needs of any truck driver, the weekend warrior or the person who needs a true work truck. New engine choices and technological innovation also highlighted Friday’s press conference.

“The headline to this story really is: we are taking 700 pounds out of this truck, using those materials, which we can invest in more towing, more hauling and much better fuel economy,” Scott said.

2015 Subaru WRX STI ON Display

Gold rims and a big wing are back with the 2015 Subaru WRX STI now display on the Cleveland Auto Show. This highly anticipated vehicle looked great in pictures, but even better in person. See it for yourself, it’s one of many reasons to visit the show.

We had to start with a big wing and gold rims, the most gorgeous part of the new car. Up front the aggressive grille says this car is ready for the road course. The 2015 WRX STI has a 2.5-liter turbocharged BOXER engine exclusive to the WRX. The engine produces 305 horsepower and 6,000 rpm.

The blue shines on the platform as a compliment to the gold rims and blue wing. It was already drawing huge crowds on the first day of the show.

The WRX STI engine is teamed exclusively with a specially reinforced 6-speed manual transmission, which includes an STI short-throw shifter in the Launch Edition model. Incline Start Assist can momentarily prevent the car from rolling backward when being driven away from a stop on an incline.

Of course it also comes with Symmetrical All Wheel Drive, the best driving style on the road today.

The WRX STI hits the Massillon showroom later this year. Contact us today to get on the waiting list and see one for yourself.
